Who We Are


The Friends of The OPP Museum is a volunteer-based registered charitable organization that supports, promotes and assists in the preservation of the history of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

The volunteer Board, Friends’ members as well as our event volunteers, supporters and donors are all drawn from diverse walks of life and communities.  Serving and retired OPP members and employees, people interested in the history of our province along with people with a desire to contribute in their community; all bring a wide range of skills and experience to help celebrate and enhance the history of the OPP.

Vision Statement

Friends of The OPP Museum, a non-profit charitable organization, is dedicated to supporting and promoting The OPP Museum helping it to achieve its long term goals, and financial stability.  It supports the preservation of collections, research initiatives, education programming, and exhibits that celebrate the OPP’s heritage.  Friends of The OPP Museum is particularly committed to engaging communities throughout the province.
